My latest project-to-be....

So, I have been looking for a bedset that has some of the colors I love the most...something, feminine, fun...kind of a modern twist on a traditional quilt set. I cannot find anything I like out there...or afford it. I decided that if I can't buy it...I will just have to make the damn thing myself! These are some of the fabric swatches I am thinking of buying. What do you think? Oh, and girls, I would still like to start up this "Stitch and Bitch" group...Sounds like fun and we might even make some cool stuff in the process.

Dream a little dream.

I am going to go ahead and forgive Joy even though she called me this morning and woke me up...Okay 11:30am, in the middle of a wonderful dream, where this man on the left was my boyfriend. A wonderfully vivid dream at that. He actually got down on one knee and begged me to go out with him, and when the phone rang I was so groggy, I really thought we were dating. That is a shame! Oh well, maybe I will be so lucky again tonight...Sweet dreams!

I wish I may...I wish I might...

Okay, when somebody asks me what I want for a Christmas or birthday present, I can never think of anything. My sister Joy says it takes the thoughtfulness out of gift giving to make a list, but you know what...people still ask. So this year I am prepared! Here are a few little things, okay and a couple of BIG things I would love this year. Gifts from the heart or even a pretty card means a lot to me, but hey, this blog is for my self-indulgent enjoyment!!!

Starbucks giftcards!!! Love 'em!

InStyle Magazine subscription...or pretty much any girly fashion mag subsription. Hey... you can get a year of Glamour for $20.

A digital camera...this one is a Canon PowerShot. Even a head-start to buying one would be awesome!

Oh my gosh, just finished reading this...and laughed my friggin' ass off!!! Any other book by David Sedaris would be enjoyed by me. Others include, Holidays on Ice and Naked.

This is the newest Floetry CD. I loved their first one, and India.Arie has a new one coming out on my birthday!

Jana and I (who share the same birthday by the way) would like to see this Cirque Du Soleil show together...it also opens on our birthday, March 14th in Portland.

And then there is this! Okay, so I am pushing my luck...but a girl can dream!
